I made one change to my Action Plan after reviewing with a colleague. I had planned to survey parents, administrators, guidance, teachers and students as my first step. After talking to her it was decided that I should first do my literature review and interview current users of the SIS to help me develop questions for my survey.

Great topic, and you did an excellent job of organizing your action research plan. I liked that you will be resurveying the same group to see if the initial impression of Infinite Campus has changed.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, and I am looking forward to following your research!
Hi James. I agree with Hannah. You did a great job in organizing your plan. Good luck. I'm looking forward to following your research.
ReplyDeleteOutline looks great. Everything looks organized and ready to go. My question would be, what is infinite campus? Can you talk a little bit about it in the blog? I've never heard of it before.
ReplyDeleteDito to James. I've never heard of this either and would like to know what it is. It would help more understand a little more about your research.
ReplyDeleteNice research plan James! This is a good topic and from what I've read about it should be very beneficial to the school.
ReplyDeleteInfinite Campus is a school information system. The company is based in Minnesota. It prides it self on its collaboration and communications pieces. This is one of the major reasons why my county purchased it. Infinite Campus is in 43 states and is the statewide system for the following states South Dakota, Montana, Kentucky, and Maine. My research will be based on how it has changed the way my county conducts business.
